Bill and Betty Ward have traveled in ministry for more than four decades. They have witnessed first hand miracles of the Lord through the demonstration of the power of the Holy Ghost whether they were laying hands on people or just seeing spontaneous signs and wonders happen while they were singing praise to the Lord. There came a day when they were in desperate need of a miracle. Bill was diagnosed as a manic-depressive and suffered insanity and emotional trauma for nine months. His doctor told him he would have to be medicated for the rest of his life in order to be able to function in society. Of course with that in mind their ministry days were over because he became fearful of being around people. BUT God showed up one morning when he was worshiping the Lord. He was instantly delivered from this dreaded chemical imbalance and has not needed medication since. To God be the glory!
Speaking of that dark time during Pastor Bill’s illness, his daughter, Jetta, said, “that was devastating. I’ve always been Daddy’s girl, and to look in his face and not see Daddy anymore, that was very hard--to be in his presence and not have that protector. Every little girl thinks Daddy is their hero, but he wasn’t there anymore. That was a loss that you lived with every day.”
